Read Across America is right around the corner!

NEA's Read Across America
event will be on Friday, March 2nd. 

Do you and your class participate? 
What kinds of activities do you do?

We send a note home asking kids to wear pajamas;
bring in a pillow, blanket, a drink and/or snack;
and of course.....BOOKS!

Help! We're All Mixed Up!

After reading The Mixed-Up Chameleon by Eric Carle, we decided to have a little fun!

I took a "before" headshot of each student and printed out 2 copies.  The first copy stayed in one piece.  I cut the second copy into four strips, and mixed all the pieces up.  The students got one strip of themselves, and the other 3 are from different students.  Check us out!
