Who wants an O.R.E.O.?

WOW!  We had such a great time with our O.R.E.O. project! Visit http://projectsbyjen.com/Projects/2011oreo/2011oinformation.html to learn more about it.

STATION #1: Oreo Stacking
The kids (and adults) had two attempts to make a tower of Oreos.  The goal was to use as many Oreos as possible before it tipped over.

STATION #2:  Sink or Float?
The students made their predictions, then tested the Oreos to see if they would sink...or float.

STATION #3:  "If You Give (Student Name) a Cookie" Writing
A parent read the book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, while the kids got to eat a few Oreos.  Afterwards, the students wrote and illustrated the sentence, "If you give (Student Name) an Oreo, then he'll want ____________".

STATION #4: Oreo Math:
Students completed word problems/graphing work all about Oreos.

I will try and add the Sink or Float and writing papers I made soon.  I left them at school...of course.

Have a great weekend!!
